Equipment and special features of the apartment
The light-flooded designer apartment COCOON-LAAX is located in the attic of a double chalet and was completely renovated in 2013. The interior design concept is characterized by fine materials, calm color combinations and contemporary designer furniture. Thanks to the loft concept with an open room divider, the apartment is exceptionally bright.
The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double bed (180 and 160cm). The bath is equipped with Valser granite. Living-dining room with fireplace, open kitchen with dining table for 4 people (induction cooker, oven / micro combi, dishwasher, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, as well as fondue and raclette caquelon). From the large, south-facing balcony you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Laax and the idyllic village center with the striking church tower.
Pets and smoking are not allowed in this apartment. WiFi and digital TV with Apple TV are free of charge. The washing machine and dryer for shared use and the sauna are in the basement. A parking space is reserved for you in the underground car park on Via Spenda (5 minutes' walk from the apartment).
Fresh linen are put on the beds before your arrival, fresh towels in the bathrooms and kitchen are ready for you to use. A final house cleaning is included in the total price.

The apartment is located on the sunny slope of Laax Dorf with a fantastic view, not far from the Laax Murschetg valley station. The local shuttle bus stops about 250m from the apartment (only in winter). Various shops are available in Laax Dorf about 850 m away.
Surrounded by unspoiled nature, the Flims-Laax-Falera region is a first-class recreation area with a wide range of sporting and cultural activities available. During the winter season, 28 state-of-the-art ski lifts and 224 kilometers of internationally awarded ski runs are on your doorstep. Thanks to its altitude, LAAX is considered as one of the ski resorts with highest snow security in Switzerland. In summer, the magnificent mountains around Flims-Laax-Falera invite you to go hiking, biking, golfing and much more. Adventurers will find exciting routes in the high rope course in Flims or climb the Via Ferrata Pinut to reach the summit of the Flimserstein rock face. Lake Laax (only 5 minutes walk from the apartment) Lake Cauma and Lake Cresta - three of the most beautiful Swiss fresh water mountain lakes are wonderful places to sit back and relax. The spectacular Rhine Gorge is in immediate vicinity of the apartment and can be explored on foot, on two wheels or directly in the water.

Die Wohnung generell, aber insbesondere die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Obwohl die Wohnung nicht so gross ist, gibt es genügend Ablage- und Aufbewahrungsraum. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus auf den Laaxersee ist toll und auch innen ist die Wohnungsee more
Die Wohnung generell, aber insbesondere die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Obwohl die Wohnung nicht so gross ist, gibt es genügend Ablage- und Aufbewahrungsraum. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus auf den Laaxersee ist toll und auch innen ist die Wohnung gemütlich und einladend. Das Badezimmer ist klein aber schön und die Betten bequem und gross. Das WLan ist tiptop und alle technischen Geräte (Küche) sind auf dem neusten Stand. Die Wohnung ist qualitativ auf sehr hohem Niveau und hell und einladend.

Aufgrund der Lage am Hang am Ende des Sees und dem Neubau des Hostels hallt der Schall von jeder Lärmquelle (Dorf, Strasse, Spielplatz, Schule) zwischen den Häusern am Ende des Tals hin und her und verstärkt diesen enorm. Dazu kommt der Lärm von densee more
Aufgrund der Lage am Hang am Ende des Sees und dem Neubau des Hostels hallt der Schall von jeder Lärmquelle (Dorf, Strasse, Spielplatz, Schule) zwischen den Häusern am Ende des Tals hin und her und verstärkt diesen enorm. Dazu kommt der Lärm von den Gästen des Hostels und den unzähligen Rasenmähern, Laubbläsern und knatternden Luxusautos in Laax, was ein gemütliches Verweilen auf der sonnigen und tollen Terrasse (zumindest im Sommer) leider nahezu verunmöglicht. Das ist sehr schade.

Die Wohnung selber ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie bietet eine wunderbare Sicht über den See zur Kirche von Laax. Ich fühlte mich in der Wohnung sehr wohl.

Die Wohnung selber ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie bietet eine wunderbare Sicht über den See zur Kirche von Laax. Ich fühlte mich in der Wohnung sehr wohl.
Was mir nicht bewusst war (und soviel ich weiss, auch nirgends erwähnt wurde): vom Besucherparkplatz, den man benützen kann, um das Gepäck auszuladen, geht es zuerst 82!!! Treppenstufen hinunter, bis man vor der Wohnungstüre steht. Und dann nochmals 16 Stufen hinauf, bis man in der Wohnung ist. Wäre einfach schön, wenn man das vorher wüsste. |
